...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia... Flint River below Big Branch near Molena affecting Meriwether and Pike Counties. For the Flint River Basin...including Molena...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Flint River below Big Branch near Molena.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 28 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding of the natural flood plain near the gage location begins. Flooding continues to expand into the agricultural and wooded areas downstream from the gage near the Georgia Highway 74 bridge. Elevated homes in this location will see a foot or two of water underneath them.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 25.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 28.3 feet this evening.
