Red Flag Warning until 07:00PM Monday

...RED FLAG WARNING MONDAY FROM 1-7 PM MDT FOR THE EASTERN PLAINS ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 84 DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES... .An upper level trough crossing Colorado, and a surface trough in the lee of the southern Rockies, will cause southwest winds to gust from 30 to 40 mph across eastern areas along and north of a Clovis-to-Fort-Sumner line on Monday afternoon until sunset. Humidities will also plummet below 15 percent while temperatures climb up to 12 degrees above 1991 to 2020 averages. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from 1 PM to 7 PM MDT Monday.

* AREA AND TIMING...East central plains along and north of a line from Clovis to Fort Sumner during the afternoon until sunset. The most critical conditions will occur during the mid to late afternoon.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest from 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Dropping between 11 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the field of this Red Flag Warning..

* AFFECTED AREAS: EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
