Montville Police Department is aware of the large power outage. Our dispatch center is up and running and phone and radios are operating. Please do not call dispatch to report outages. This ties up our dispatchers and phone lines. We have been in contact with JCP&L representative and they gave full attention to the outage and have crews working on the issue. The issue is stemming from the winds and is believed to be an issue at the power stations. JCPL crews are working on getting power back ASAP. As of right now, there is no estimated time of restoration. We will update when we have an update from JCPL.
