We will have crews flushing all the fire hydrants over the next 6 weeks. This may cause some discolored water in your water lines. We hope to do this as quickly as possible. The discolored water is caused by mineral deposits in the lines. The water has been tested and it meets the EPA Safe Water Guidelines. You can run your COLD water for about 10 minutes and the water should clear up. If this does not clear it up, please call Aztec Public Works at 505-334-7660.
