Winter Storm Warning until 06:00AM Saturday

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 8 inches. For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 22 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until midnight MDT tonight. For the Winter Storm Warning, from noon Thursday to 6 AM MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found at: www.weather.gov/gjt/winter.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
