* WHAT...Northeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 75 mph expected. Isolated gusts to 100 mph for inland Orange County below the coastal slopes of the Santa Ana Mountains and near and below the Cajon Pass.

* WHERE...San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire, San Bernardino County Mountains, Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills, Orange County Coastal Areas and Orange County Inland Areas.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 6 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will occur from before sunrise Thursday into Thursday morning.
