AVOID the area of Stow St. from E. Cochran St. to Los Angeles Ave. 
The Simi Valley Police Department advises you to AVOID Stow St. from E. Cochran St. to Los Angeles Ave. due to a temporary road closure. The Simi Valley Police Department in collaboration with the Simi Valley Unified School District and surrounding agencies will be conducting an "Every 15 minutes" presentation to the students at Simi Valley High School. The closure will begin at approximately 8:00 am this morning (03/13/2024) and will remain closed until approximately 1:00 pm. Please use alternative routes, such as Stearns St./ Yosemite Ave. during these hours.
The "Every 15 minutes" program was established in California back in 1995 with the goal to educate high school students on making good choices about drinking and driving and encourages them to make responsible decisions in all areas of their lives.
