See below for updates on the various traffic projects taking place citywide. Please keep this information in mind when traveling through Lighthouse Point.

1. NE 31^st Court bridge is fully open for two way traffic. Bridge repairs are complete.
2. NE 49^th Street bridge repairs have begun and traffic is now reduced to one lane over the bridge. Traffic is controlled by temporary signals identical to the others.
3. Sample Road bridge repairs are extensive and ongoing. One lane traffic remains in effect and controlled by the temporary signals.
4. Northbound US-1 at 4400 block: The inside Northbound lane of US-1 is presently closed due to road damage resulting from a water service issue. The service line and roadway must be repaired in that order. Broward County is working diligently to repair the water service line presently. Once this is complete their contractor will commence repairs on the thru-lane in conjunction with the Florida Dept of Transportation. The roadway surface in the lane is presently damaged and not safe to traverse thereby requiring closure.
