The Fairfield Police Department wishes to inform you of traffic detours and road closures in anticipation of Bridgeport's Saint Patrick's Day Parade on Friday, March 15, 2024. Please take note of the following details:

Date & Time of Traffic Disruptions:

• Friday, March 15, 2024
• 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Affected Areas & Road Closures:

1. Fairfield Avenue Closure:
• Fairfield Avenue will be closed at the Town Line in Bridgeport, from Post Road (Fairfield) to Ellsworth Street (Bridgeport).
2. Brewster Street Closure:
• Brewster Street will be closed at Black Rock Turnpike/Ash Creek Boulevard, preventing access to Fairfield Avenue.
3. East Bound Post Road Traffic Diversion:
• Eastbound traffic on Post Road will be diverted from the Traffic Circle to Kings Highway Cutoff (Route 1). No through traffic will be allowed on Post Road from the Traffic Circle. Access to businesses on Post Road will be permitted and a police officer will be posted at this location.
4. Grasmere Ave Closure:
• Grasmere Ave will be closed to through traffic between Kings Highway East and Post Road.
