Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help with identifying the suspect pictured below, who hit a victim in the head with a bottle during a fight on March 9, 2024.
The aggravated assault incident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. in the 100 block of Van Buren Street. On surveillance video, the suspect got into a fight with the victim and threw him to the ground where he hit him in the head with the bottle.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
