* At 455 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Head of Grassy, or 9 miles northwest of Carter Caves State Park, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Grayson, Olive Hill, Carter Caves State Park, Gesling, Oldtown, Carter, Grahn, Hopewell, Brushart, Hitchins, and Warnock. This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 154 and 176.
