Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 09:15PM Thursday

SVRILN The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Wayne County in east central Indiana...

* Until 915 PM EDT.

* At 833 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near New Castle, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include... Richmond, Centerville, Hagerstown, Fountain City, Franklin, Greens Fork, Spring Grove, Bethel, Economy, Whitewater, Middleboro, Jacksonburg, Interstate 70 at Exit 145, and Williamsburg. This includes I-70 in Indiana between mile markers 134 and 155.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WAYNE, IN

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds and tornadoes.
