DETAILS: Ptl. LaForge was conducting a radar speed enforcement operation on U.S. Route 1 when he observed a white Toyota SUV speeding. The SUV was also improperly passing slower traffic. Ptl. LaForge caught up to the Toyota and stopped it. During the stop, the driver, Eddie Taylor was found to be a “Wanted” fugitive out of both Trenton and North Huntingdon, PA. Taylor was processed at WWPD and turned over to Trenton PD.

DETAILS: Ptl. Fattibene was detailed to Target for a shoplifter who was being detained by store Asset Protection. Investigation found that Alou Gamby entered the store with two other male accomplices. They selected grocery and food items, put them into a shopping cart, then headed to the self-checkout. Three items worth a total of $8.17 were scanned and paid for, while $277.40 worth of grocery/food was not. Gamby proceeded to exit the store pushing the shopping cart full of unpaid items out, while his accomplices went in different directions. Asset protection detained Gamby and recovered their property. Gamby was processed at WWPD and released pending a future date in court.

DETAILS: Ptl. S. Van Ness was detailed to Best Buy for a shoplifting. A male suspect entered the store, asked an employee where computer RAM (memory) cards were stored for sale, and was shown where they were. After the employee walked away, the suspect manipulated the glass door the RAM cards were locked behind, reached in and stole six (6) RAM cards valued at $290.00. Investigation by Det. Crawford determined the shoplifter to be Paris Marsh. Marsh was charged with shoplifting on 2/27/24.

DETAILS: Ptl. Fattibene was on patrol when his attention was drawn to a blue Honda Civic that abruptly applied its brakes to slow down for slow moving traffic ahead of it. Ptl. Fattibene also observed that the car was also having difficulty staying within its lane of travel, and that the registration was expired. Ptl. Fattibene stopped the Honda and during the investigation determined that the driver, Saketa Chadalavada, was DWI. He was processed at WWPD and released pending a future date in court.

DETAILS: Patrol Units were detailed to Wegmans for shoplifters being detained by store Asset Protection. Investigation found that Jamilia Jones and Natasha Harrison selected $838.06 worth of groceries, merchandise, and baby formula that they put into shopping bags which were then placed into a shopping cart. They then pushed the cart full of items out of the store without paying. Jones and Harrison were processed at WWPD and released pending future dates in court.

DETAILS: The residents of a home located in the Princeton Oaks development discovered that they were the victims of an attempted residential burglary. Investigation found that during the overnight hours, two suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks, walked around the victim’s house checking for unlocked doors. They also tried to pry a window open without success. The suspects left without gaining entry into the house, but not before stealing a gardening tool that had been left outside.

DETAILS: Patrol Units were detailed to Target for a shoplifting at the store involving three suspects. The shoplifters had concealed $857.19 worth of beauty products into tote bags, and they were apprehended by officers as they left the store. Armani Ridley-Robinson, Quaasia Self, and Anija Colman were all arrested for shoplifting. Ridley-Robinson also had warrants for his arrest out of Plainsboro, Trenton, and Wall Twp. The trio were processed at WWPD and released pending future court dates.

DETAILS: Ptl. Borup was conducting a speed enforcement radar operation on U.S. Route 1 when he observed a black Ford SUV speeding. Ptl. Borup intercepted and stopped the Ford SUV. During the stop, the driver, Joshua McDonald was found to be in possession of a Walther 9mm semi-automatic handgun containing 8 bullets. The unholstered handgun was in the storage pocket on the driver’s door and was in easy reach of the driver. McDonald did not possess a permit to carry a handgun so he was placed under arrest. He was processed at WWPD and released pending a future date in court.
