Westerly winds continue to gust upwards of 40 to 45 mph this afternoon and are expected to persist through at least sunset (approximately 7 PM CST) this evening. Occasionally higher gusts in excess of 45 mph may also be observed. Winds of this magnitude may blow around light yard furniture and decorations and make driving difficult for high profile vehicles on north-south oriented roads. Therefore, secure any lose yard decor and use caution if traveling this evening.
