Full Notification

On March 17th, 2024, at approximately 5:36 a.m., Deputies assigned to the Metropolitan Patrol Division were dispatched to a missing juvenile investigation in the 3100 block of Pioneer Dr. Bakersfield. The 10-year-old female juvenile was found to be missing under suspicious circumstances, and a detective call-out was initiated. Detectives developed information that the juvenile may be in the company of an adult male and traveling through Utah. Utah authorities were notified, and the juvenile was located unharmed in the company of an adult male. The investigation is ongoing, and the Kern Sheriff’s Office will release additional information as the investigation allows. Sheriff's Case # 2024-00032016.
