STRONG WINDS AND ELEVATED FIRE DANGER FOR VERMILION COUNTY TODAY 
West to southwest winds will become gusty this morning and continue into the afternoon. Gust speeds will reach up to 35 to 45 mph at times. These winds will combine with low relative humidity in the 30s and dry conditions to create an elevated fire danger risk today. Brush and leaf burning should be avoided as any fires could quickly spread out of control.
