Wilmington Police have arrested six men on drug charges.
On March 18, at approximately 11:16 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 800 block of West Street. Police made contact with the driver – a 17-year-old male juvenile, a 16-year-old male juvenile, 21-year-old Jovon Malloy, 18-year-old Cshaun Washington, 20-year-old Clyde Penny, and a second 16-year-old male juvenile. Police took all six subjects into custody without incident, and following a brief investigation recovered 7 grams of fentanyl laced marijuana, 21.4 grams of crack cocaine, 1.07 grams of heroin, 17.7 grams of marijuana, $3,510, and drug paraphernalia.
The 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic violations:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the New Castle County Juvenile Detention Center on $82,200 cash-only bail.
The first 16-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in New Castle County Family Court and was committed to the New Castle County Juvenile Detention Center on $82,200 secured bail.
Jovon Malloy has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $65,330 cash-only bail.
Cshaun Washington has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $42,130 unsecured bail.
Clyde Penny has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Marijuana
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $42,330 cash-only bail.
The second 16-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
