The Santa Clara Police Department will host a Community Meeting to discuss Assembly Bill 481: Military Equipment Funding, Acquisition and Use on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Police Building (601 El Camino Real).
The meeting will include review of the 2023 Annual Report which comprises a summary of what is deemed military equipment and its use, complaints received if any, internal audits or other information about the policy, the cost of such use and other similar information.
