Hayward PD Requesting Community Assistance 
The Hayward Police Department is requesting the community's help for any information that would lead to those responsible for the murder of 25-year-old Daniel Leaaetoa Puamau, known as Nela to his friends and family.
On Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, at approximately 1130 pm, Daniel Puamau was shot and killed while he celebrated the Fourth of July with friends and family near the intersection of Florida St and Miami Ave in south Hayward.
