The North Castle Highway Department in conjunction with the North Castle Police Department have deployed a new temporary Stop Sign for eastbound Banksville Road traffic at the intersection of Long Pond Road. This Stop Sign is part of a proposal to increase the efficiency and safety of this intersection by making it an All-Way Stop intersection. Additionally, traffic cones have been deployed to delineate the other changes in the proposal to formalize the intersection as an All-Way Stop intersection. This new Stop Sign will be deployed for a period of time to evaluate its design.  Please drive carefully and obey this temporary traffic control device.
