INCIDENT: Battery with Serious Bodily Injury
LOCATION: 20 block of SouthValley Mesa, Havasu Lake, CA
SUSPECT(S): Vaughn Chee, 33 Years Old, Resident of Havasu Lake
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Monday, March 18, 2024, at approximately 9:01 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to 300 block of Sunrise Trail reference an assault. Deputies arrived on scene and learned that Vaughn Chee assaulted the victim, then fled the scene.
On Thursday, March 21, 2024, deputies located Chee in Havasu Landing. Chee was consequently arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station jail for PC 243(D) - Battery with Serious Bodily Injury. Chee remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
