Winter Weather Advisory until 02:00PM

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches.

* WHERE...Washtenaw and Wayne Counties.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow initially expands across the region through the rush hour commute, between 6 AM and 9 AM. Snow banding is possible north of I-94 resulting in rates at or above 1 inch per hours. Total accumulations of 1 to 3 inches will be possible by late morning for these northern areas. A sharp gradient of lower amounts in the southern portions of the counties is likely. A lull in snow is likely this afternoon. A secondary window for snow is then expected through the evening and early nighttime hours when an additional 0.5 to 1 inches will be possible.
