Deputy Robert Watson with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 35-year-old Megan Rhom with felonious Attempting to Obtain Property by False Pretense, Larceny and Aiding & Abetting Larceny. Rhom was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
On March 2nd, deputies responded to Dollar General in Dysartsville for prior larceny. The store’s security cameras captured Rhom, along with another female suspect, stealing items from inside the store.
On March 17th, Deputy Watson was patrolling the Dysartsville area and observed Rhom leaving the Dollar General in her vehicle. Watson initiated a traffic stop and arrested Rhom on her outstanding warrants.
