Two Marion Men Arrested after Traffic Stop Turns up Narcotics
Detective David Jones with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged 39-year-old Joshua Lane Wilson with an Open Container of Alcohol Violation, felonious Possession of Methamphetamine, felonious Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana up to ½ Ounce, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wilson was issued a $25,000 secured bond.
Detective D. Jones also charged 35-year-old Joshua Adam Chilcote with an Open Container of Alcohol Violation, felonious Possession of Methamphetamine, felonious Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana up to ½ Ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While Licenses Revoked. Chilcote was issued a $25,000 secured bond.
On the night of March 20th, Detective D. Jones was patrolling the area of US 70 E and Harmony Grove Rd in Nebo. He initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. Upon approaching the driver’s window, Detective D. Jones observed an open container of alcohol in the cup holder. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine, several pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
