Flood Warning until 04:30PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and northern New Jersey, including the following counties, in central New Jersey, Mercer. In northern New Jersey, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris and Somerset.

* WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1238 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Morristown, Somerville, Somerset, Edison, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville and North Brunswick. - This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8A and 12. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 53. Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 26 and 42. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 25 and 47. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 121 and 133. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
