* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New Jersey, including the following counties, Hunterdon, Morris, Sussex and Warren and Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery and Northampton.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1240 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly across portions of the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Allentown, Reading, Easton, Newton, Bethlehem, Pottstown, Hopatcong, Forks, Emmaus, Wyomissing, Northampton and Hackettstown. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 9. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 1 and 25. Interstate 176 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 1 and 11. Northeast Extension between mile markers 44 and 71. Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 10 and 76.
