Flash Flooding On Certain Roadways - Avoid Unnecessary Travel During Peak Of Storm Today March 23rd, 2024. 
OEM UPDATE MARCH 23RD, 2024:
As projected, some flash flooding in roadways have occurred within the Township, and the police department is working to place barricades at flooded locations. DON'T DROWN, TURN AROUND. If you happen upon a flooded roadway, do not risk it. Avoid unnecessary travel this afternoon until the storm subsides. We are currently in the peak of this storm, and during these inundations, storm drainage systems will be overwhelmed. As time goes on today, water will recede from roadways.
Clearing catch basins is a major assistance to the Township. If you have a clogged catch basin near your home and can remove collected debris, this aids in the flow of water and clearing flash flooded roadways.
