* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 352 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. With several gauges still rising and some expected to exceed flood stage this afternoon, the Flood Warning has been extended. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - For Whippany River at Morristown: At 3:35pm the stage was 5.8 feet and rising. Flood Stage is 6 feet. ... For Lamington River at Pottersville and rising: At 3:15pm the stage was 3.89 feet. Flood Stage is 4.5 feet. ...
