The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for our area beginning Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

A storm system is affecting our area today, with rain currently falling and expected to continue until later this evening.

Currently 1-2 inches of rain has fallen and an approximate total of 3 inches is expected for the entire event.

Winds will be 10-15 MPH, with gusts to 30 MPH.  Winds may cause down tree limbs resulting in power outages.

Excessive water runoff will result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying flood-prone areas.  Residents should be aware if they live in a flood prone area to take precautions. 

Township roadways are also expected to flood.  Residents should expect detours and closures.

Please avoid travel. 
Please do NOT walk or drive through flooded areas.
