Flood Warning in effect for the Teaneck area. 
The Township is experiencing roadway flooding including the areas of Palisade Avenue and New Bridge Road/River Road.
FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following
counties, Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union and southeast
New York, including the following county, Richmond (Staten Island).
* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff. Expect many areas of slow
moving or standing water.
* *Recommended actions**
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.
