...Heavy Wet Snow Expected from Mid to Late Morning through Tonight... .A band of heavy wet snow will move through the area mid-morning today and last through tonight. As it progresses through the region, snow totals across parts of northeastern Iowa into southeast Minnesota and west central Wisconsin will range from 3 to 7 inches before precipitation begins to change over to rain or ends. Higher totals of 6 to 10 inches are expected across north central Wisconsin in northern Clark and Taylor counties. Travel will be hazardous with the combination of heavy snowfall rates of 1 inch or greater per hour and winds gusting to around 25 to 35 mph. Blowing and drifting snow is possible across southeast Minnesota. Due to the heavy and wet nature of this snow, take frequent breaks if shoveling.
