THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS HAMLIN COUNTY UNDER WINTER STORM WARNING UNTIL 7 AM CDT TUESDAY.
Heavy mixed precipitation expected with a total snow accumulations of 8 to 14 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
