...Heavy Wet Snow and Mixed Precipitation Continues Across Parts of the Region... .Early this evening a band of heavy wet snow continues across mainly southeast Minnesota into western and central Wisconsin. This band of snow is producing a quick 2 to 4 inches of new snow as it lifts north. Meanwhile warming temperatures to the south had switched most of the precipitation over to rain across northern Iowa into far southwest Wisconsin. In those areas conditions were improving. Additional heavy snow is most likely tonight north of Interstate 90 in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
* WHAT...Less than an inch of additional snow but roads will remain snow covered for a time this evening.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Minnesota and southwest Wisconsin.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
