Detective Matthew Smith with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged 51-year-old Gary Rhymer with felonious Possession of Methamphetamine, felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance and felonious Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine. Rhymer was issued a $5,000 secured bond.
On March 21st, Detective Smith assisted NC Probation/Parole Officers with a search of Rhymer’s residence. The search turned up methamphetamine.
