Class 2024 High School graduating seniors, these local scholarship applications are now available online

Attention all graduating Seniors,

The Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus is excited to share with you the following information about local scholarships available to our graduating High School residents for 2024. The long-standing awards from the Ho-Ho-Kus Contemporary Club, The Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and, for the very first time, The Ho-Ho-Kus Stigma Free Committee.  Each organization has their own specific criteria and the awards will be determined by each group independently. There is a brief description and the links for more information on how to apply listed below. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation and good luck with this scholarship process.

The Contemporary Club of Ho-Ho-Kus offers an annual $1,000 merit-based scholarship to a high school senior and Ho-Ho-Kus resident (of at least one year). Here is the link to the details:  https://www.contemporaryclubhhk.com/scholarship.
 
The Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is pleased to announce that it is offering two $1000 scholarships for individuals planning to continue their education. One will be awarded to a member of the Ho-Ho-Kus Fire Department or immediate family and one to a Ho-Ho-Kus resident with no fire department affiliation.  The scholarships will be awarded based on a variety of factors including demonstration of outstanding community service. The Ho-Ho-Kus Stigma Free Committee is pleased to announce it will be offering two $500 scholarships in 2024 to Ho-Ho-Kus residents that are graduating High School Seniors planning to continue their education in the areas of mental health, social work, guidance counseling or education. This first-time scholarship is the result of a collaboration between the Ho-Ho-Kus Mayor & Council, the Ho-Ho-Kus Board of Education, the Administration of both the school district and borough, along with Faculty, Staff and Borough Employees.
