Activity for March 26, 2024. Officers responded to 76 calls for service, made 13 arrests, and 7 traffic stops.
Activity for March 26, 2024:
- Officer Stallworth responded to the 1600 block of Lansing Avenue for a subject who violated their parole conditions. A 43-year-old male was arrested for parole violation.
- Officer Simon was dispatched to the Courthouse for a warrant pick-up. A 34-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Bean responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 32-year-old male was turned over to a Court Officer to be seen on several outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 30-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant, and multiple misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Morse made contact with a subject in the 200 block of West Morrell Street. A 41-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Charges for possession of narcotics and carrying a concealed weapon will be sought on the male, pending lab results.
- Officer Tripp responded to the 300 block of Moorman Drive for a personal welfare check. A 33-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Sergeant Thoresen conducted a traffic stop near Steward Avenue and Oakhill Avenue. A 58-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- JFD, JPD, and several other agencies were dispatched to the 2200 block of East Ganson Street for a structure fire. A 76-year-old male was transported to the hospital, and is in stable condition.
- Officers responded back to the area of the structure fire for a car versus pedestrian accident. An elderly subject drove through the area that was blocked off by several fire trucks, and struck two volunteers from J-DART. Both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
- Officer Panther and Officer Vernier were dispatched to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for an assault. A 37-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation; charges will be sought for possession of narcotics and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. A 41-year-old female was arrested for possession of narcotics and 1st degree home invasion. A 40-year-old male and a 32-year old male were also arrested for 1st degree home invasion. A 49-year-old male and a 25-year-old male were both arrested on outstanding felony warrants.
