The Plainfield Police Department would like to advise all residents April is Distracted Driver Awareness month.  During the month of April, the Plainfield Police Department will be doing heavy traffic enforcement in an effort to keep our residents safe and to educate drivers on distracted driving. Distracted driver enforcement will take place in areas including but not limited to South Avenue, East Front Street, West Front Street, East 7th Street, West 7th Street and Park Avenue.
