Kodiak we will be participating in the test of the Tsunami Warning System scheduled on Wednesday, March 27, at 10:20 am. Instead of our regular Wednesday at 2:00 pm test, we will sound the sirens at 10:20 am for this event only.
The test is scheduled as part of Alaska’s Tsunami Preparedness Week (March 24-30, 2024), and on the 60th anniversary of the Great Alaska Earthquake and Tsunami of 1964
