OFFICER PRESENCE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL. You currently see an increased police presence at the High School due to a called in threat. There is absolutely no reason to believe this is a valid threat. Of course we take all menacing complaints seriously as do Westlake Schools. Dismissal from the High School will be delayed approx 30 min. All other schools will dismiss on time. Westlake officers are currently investigating and will fully prosecute any persons involved in hoax (SWATTING) threats.
At this point there is no one allowed to enter the High School Lot. All parents picking up children should park on Settlers Reserve Way or Royal Forest. Students will be dismissed at approx 2:55PM
