911 call leads to arrest of Fort Branch woman.
On March 27, 2024, at 5:58 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a disturbance in the 300 block of West Locust Street in Fort Branch. Upon arriving Deputy Quinten Might began an investigation into the incident and spoke with all parties involved. During the investigation Deputy Might determined that 18 year old Edee King of Fort Branch had battered another person at the residence. Once Deputy Might had finished his investigation he placed Ms. King into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Battery, Intimidation, and Criminal Mischief.
Assisting Deputy Might in his investigation was Deputy Michael Owens and Haubstadt Officer Bryan Munnier.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
