As we head into April, preparing for our Annual Clean Up Day, the Borough wants to remind everyone that Solid Waste pickup returns twice a week beginning on April 1^st. Plus here is the long list of various spring-cleaning opportunities headed your way as we celebrate Earth Day!

Upcoming events hosted by Ho-Ho-Kus

• Saturday, April 6^th we will hold our semi-annual Shredding Day event from 9am-1pm at the Borough Hall parking lot 333 Warren Ave. Please enter from the Sycamore Avenue driveway.
• Saturday, April 13^th will be our first ever Styrofoam Recycling Day. Residents are encouraged to bring their number six symbol Styrofoam to the DPW garage located at 23 Hollywood Ave. from 9am-1pm this opportunity. We already plan to host another event October 12^th, so save the Styrofoam and the date! • Saturdays, April 20^th and 27^th The Borough will also be hosting at the DPW garage (located at 23 Hollywood Ave.) a trash truck for bulk disposal.  You can bring your non-hazardous materials for drop-off on these dates, from 8:30am-11:30am.

• Sunday, April 7^th at the Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Rd. from 9am-3pm. Future events at the college will be on June 9^th and October 20^th, if you cannot make the April event.
• Saturday, May 11^th The County will be hosting the same events at the Campgaw Mountain Reservation 200 Campgaw Rd., Mahwah on July 20^th and September 7^th from 9am-3pm.

• April 21^st and August 10^th at the Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Rd., 9am-2pm.
• June 1^st and October 6th at the Campgaw Reservation, 200 Campgaw Rd. Mahwah, 9am-2pm
