High Wind Warning until 10:00PM Saturday

* WHAT...Southeast winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 75 mph possible. For the Anchorage Bowl, southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph possible.

* WHERE...Anchorage Hillside and western Turnagain Arm.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 10 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong southeasterly winds will develop Saturday morning and continue into Saturday evening. Strongest wind gusts will be felt along western Turnagain Arm and the Anchorage Hillside areas. Strong southerly winds will develop late Saturday night and affect the lower elevations of Anchorage through the day Sunday. These southerly winds are expected to gust between from 35 and 50 mph with the strongest winds in west and south Anchorage.
