Blizzard Warning until 10:00PM Saturday

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. Visibilities less than one quarter mile at times.

* WHERE...Alaska Peninsula, from Nelson Lagoon east.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 10 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could cause damage.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ALASKA PENINSULA

Instructions:

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you.If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
