Valley rain and mountain snow has overspread much of northeastern NV this evening. Snow levels will lower through this evening, with accumulations on roadways possible, especially over summits and areas at or above 5500 feet in elevation, including portions of Highway 93 and Interstate 80. Showers are expected to diminish over NE Nevada after midnight, though slick roadways will be a concern through the overnight hours. Visit www.weather.gov/elko for the latest weather information.
