INCREASED FIRE DANGER IN EFFECT FROM NOON EDT TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING... Dry air and deep mixing will allow the relative humidity to fall to critical values across northeast Georgia and western North Carolina this afternoon. Relative Humidity values are expected to be 25 percent or less for several hours this afternoon through early evening. Southwest winds will be 10 to 15 MPH, with gusts of 15 to 25 MPH. This combined with dry fuels will result in potentially dangerous fire weather conditions.
