Wilmington Police have arrested a woman on drug charges following an investigation.
Beginning in March, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 600 block of East 5th Street. On March 25, at approximately 11:24 a.m., police executed a search warrant in that block and took 33-year-old Amanda Green into custody without incident. Police recovered 82.2 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Green has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and was released on $3,000 unsecured bail.
