SUSPECT(S): Israel Fisher, a 23-year-old resident of Rancho Cucamonga, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Thursday, March 21, 2024, a male and a female were on a date at Vellano Park. At approximately 9:55 p.m., an unknown male suspect approached the male victim and stabbed him multiple times. The victim fought off the suspect, fled, and called 9-1-1. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Chino Hills detectives assumed the investigation and identified Israel Fisher as the suspect. Fisher was an acquaintance of the female present during the attack.
On Thursday, March 28, 2024, Chino Hills detectives and the Multiple Enforcement Team deputies collaborated to conduct surveillance on Fisher. Fisher was in the city of Montclair, detained without incident, and transported to the Chino Hills Station for an interview. Following the interview, Fisher was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder.
