Update from National Weather Service: A line of storms looks to be developing between Topeka and Lawrence. This activity is expected to form into a line fairly quickly and will pose a concern for straight line winds and the potential for a brief spin up along the line.  It's on track to move into the western part of the KC Metro by 5:00 to 5:30 PM  

A Tornado Watch was issued for the entire KC Metro Area until 11PM tonight.  Stay weather aware!
