* Until 345 AM CDT.

* At 258 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Woodlawn to near Ava, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Mount Vernon, Benton, Du Quoin, Pinckneyville, Christopher, Rend Lake Area, Sesser, Wayne City, Woodlawn, Bluford, Valier, West City, Ava, Tamaroa, Ina, North City, Dahlgren, Buckner, Waltonville, and Dowell. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 71 and 102. Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 63 and 98.
