Flood Warning until 11:45AM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Benton, Camden, Hickory, Miller and Morgan. In southwest Missouri, Dallas. In west central Missouri, St. Clair.

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 546 AM CDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - MODOT reported Route D south of Preston is closed due to flooding as well as Route P over Starks Creek. Additionally, Tavern Creek at St. Elizabeth in Miller County has reached minor flood stage. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eldon, Osage Beach, Camdenton, Versailles, Hermitage, Village of Four Seasons, Lake Ozark, Osceola, Laurie, Weaubleau, Urbana, Wheatland, Macks Creek, Pittsburg, Sunrise Beach, St. Elizabeth, Linn Creek, Preston, Cross Timbers, Barnett, Tuscumbia, Collins, Gravois Mills, Olean, Climax Springs, Bagnell, Brumley, Vista, Lakeside, Gerster, Barnumton, Purvis, Knobby, Hurricane Deck, Roach, Green Bay Terrace, Branch, Old Linn Creek, Edwards and Zora. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
